The launch of the Vision Pro disrupted Samsung’s plans to release an XR mixed reality headset

According to SBS Biz, the launch of Samsung’s XR mixed reality headset, which we expected to launch in February 2024, has been delayed by 3 to 6 months.

According to the Korean publication SBS Biz Samsung initially decided to start the mass production of its XR headset from early next year, but the company has postponed the unveiling of its headset due to the introduction of Apple’s Vision Pro and the capabilities that this product offers.

According to recent reports, Apple is selling its first-generation mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro, by appointment only.
