Samsung’s Quick Share system now supports Windows and other Android phones

Samsung has announced that the Quick Share feature on the Galaxy S24 now has better support for Windows and other Android phones.

The Korean mobile industry giant unveiled the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra phones last night at the Unpacked event with stunning AI-based gadgets, upgraded cameras and Exynos and Snapdragon processors.

One of the features of Samsung phones that has existed since the past is Quick Share, which is used to transfer files at high speed.

A few years ago, Google launched Nearby Share as the Android version of iPhone AirDrop, which allows file sharing between various Android devices. Google and Samsung announced at CES 2024 that Nearby Share and Quick Share will be merged under Samsung’s better Quick Share brand.

Now the Galaxy S24 series communicates quickly with any type of Google phone and a wide range of phones, tablets and laptops from different manufacturers through Quick Share.

Quick Share allows for unlimited transfers. Android mobile phones and non-Samsung Windows devices can also transfer files without the need for a QR code.
