The Iranian Customs Organization has published the latest statistics related to the import of mobile phones, which, in addition to mentioning the numbers and figures related to the import of mobile phones in the first quarter of this year, also includes statistics on the number and dollar value of mobile phone imports in 1401.
According to the statistics of Iranian customs, from April to June of this year, a total of 2,654,000 mobile phones have been imported into the country in a commercial way and 149,000 in passenger mode.
According to this report, a total of 14,315,000 mobile phones worth 2.871 billion dollars were imported into the country last year. Out of more than 14 million and 300 thousand mobile devices that entered the country in 1401, 13 million and 764 thousand devices were imported in a commercial way and 550 thousand devices were imported in a passenger way.
From the beginning of April to the end of June this year, 2,803,000 mobile phones were imported into the country, of which 2,654,000 were imported commercially and 149,000 were imported as passengers.
Iran customs statistics show that in the first quarter of 1402, a total of 574 million and 280 thousand dollars were spent on importing mobile phones into the country; The dollar value of mobile phones imported commercially was 483 million and 601 thousand dollars.
The amount of 90 million and 679 thousand dollars is the value of the phones that entered the country in the first three months of this year as passengers.
Tasnim news agency wrote that the mobile phones with tariff codes 85171210 and 85171390 are related to smart mobile phones. In addition, tariff codes 85171220 and 85171420 have been defined for mobile phones with non-touch keyboards. Currently, the import of both types of mobile phones is carried out in two ways, commercial and passenger.
