Kevin Lynch And Deidre Caldbeckone of Apple’s senior managers, has confirmed that various watch faces are not going to be added to the company’s smart watches.
Since Watchface is essentially the Apple Watch’s home screen, Apple prefers to keep it proprietary. Senior Apple executives have said that the company cannot ensure the full compatibility of various watch faces with software updates, and therefore has no plans to support these watch faces.
According to the writing GSMArena, Lynch and Caldbeck said Apple listened to user feedback and decided to change the function of the Digital Crown push button to open the Control Center. Users have been asking for a direct solution to access the Control Center for a long time. Now double-pressing the Digital Crown will open the App Switcher section.
