Samsung’s Chinese branch with Baidu AI Cloud has cooperated To use this company’s proprietary artificial intelligence called ERNIE in the best Samsung phones, the Galaxy S24 series, in the Chinese market.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will be available alongside the Galaxy S24 Plus and the regular model in the Chinese market, thanks to ERNIE artificial intelligence, with features such as text summarization and correction and live call translation. The Samsung Note Assistant app, which works with ERNIE, provides translation and summarization of content in various formats.
Other functions that exist in the international version of the Galaxy S24 series (such as the ability to convert speech to text and translate different languages and Circle To Search) are all coordinated with Baidu’s artificial intelligence.
The big language model ERNIE 4, which was released last year, has made a lot of progress in the field of artificial intelligence and currently has more than 100 million users.
Baidu has also made it easier to develop AI applications with tools like ModelBuilder and AppBuilder that help developers build custom AI models more easily.
It is unlikely that the use of Chinese artificial intelligence will affect the price of Samsung phones in the Chinese market. The price of Samsung flagship phones in the global market starts from $799 in the basic model.
