According to Gupta’s hybrid hypothesis, our universe is as big as we think and has expanded since the Big Bang event. He begins his hypothesis with two models of the expanding universe: the first is based on standard assumptions about the uniformity and smoothness of the universe, and the other incorporates some variations, including what is known as the coupling constant.

Coupling constants describe the interaction of forces between particles; Like the way the electromagnetic fields of two protons are placed in the vicinity of each other and their effect in certain ways on each other’s behavior.
