According to Windows ReportLaptop manufacturer Microsoft is probably working on an application that works similar to YouTube’s Copyright Match Tool and can automatically detect unauthorized use of copyrighted video content.
To use the mentioned program, the user only needs to record the target video and the reference video in the software. The tool will then compare the two videos in terms of scene repetition, similarity and order.
It is said that users will not need to have target video and reference video to work with this program. In this case, the program will work with the information it has in its database.
Apparently, Microsoft’s copyright application will rely on Google, Bing and other search engines to create a video database.
Rumors suggest that Microsoft’s copyright tool could become a standalone application or be used in Microsoft products.
