With this development, the Raptor Lake refresh is likely to appear more powerful than the Ryzen 7000X3D. Ryzen 7000X3D is a family of AMD gaming processors.
Intel recently announced that it will replace Core i in the name of its processors with Core; But apparently, the processors of the Raptor Lake refresh series are going to still use the term Core i. Thus, the new nomenclature will be used only in the laptop model of the 14th generation processors (Meteor Lake family). The Raptor Lake refresh is the latest series of Intel processors to be made available under the Core i designation.
Moore’s Law Is Dead says that it’s unlikely that the flagship Core i9-14900K processor will be able to deliver a frequency beyond 6.2GHz, and that it’s “extremely unlikely” that it will go above 6.3GHz. The Intel Core i9-13900KS processor registers a high frequency of 6.0 GHz.
