Google Chrome arrives at 15 years old with a new appearance and features

In the new redesign, the Chrome browser, inspired by the Material You language, has a new look and new color palettes have been added to it. In addition, sections such as the Chrome web store, extensions and search security have also undergone changes in appearance and increased functionality. By the end of September, we will see the unveiling of the new Chrome.

According to Parisa Tabrizi, one of Chrome’s senior managers, this browser has been able to achieve the highest loading speed in benchmark tests in recent years. Support for the HTTPS security protocol by default and generation and protection of passwords are among the security features added to Chrome.

Since the Android operating system uses the Material You design language for customization settings; The new features of Chrome will also be familiar to Android users and they can be accessed from the Customize Chrome section at the bottom of the page. Also, in the new design, options such as Chrome Extensions, Google Translate, and Google Password Management will be added to the three-point menu in the upper right corner of the screen.

Chrome icons have been refreshed with a focus on better visibility and new color combinations have been added to create a nicer look in tabs and toolbars. Distinctive themes and coloring make profiles more distinguishable from each other.

Another part of the attractive redesign of Chrome is related to the web store; Where finally, the categories of plugins are more organized and it is easier to find the desired plugin and it gives personalized suggestions to the user. You don’t have to worry about the security of plugins either, because Google’s Safety Check feature will evaluate them.

Finally, we have two changes in the search and security sections. By selecting the “Search this page with Google optionFrom the three-dot menu, a Google search box appears on the side of the page, allowing the user to dig deeper into a topic or pin it.

To increase the security of users, Google Chrome continuously scans the sites and displays a warning flag upon seeing suspicious items. Google expects this method to prevent 25% of fraud and the spread of malware.
