Bill Gates considers 2024 to be the year of productive artificial intelligence

2023 has been a very important year for productive artificial intelligence, and the advancements of this technology will continue in the coming year.

Bill Gatesthe former CEO of Microsoft, looking at the past year and approaching 2024, made a note in Gates noteshas published his personal website and explained how artificial intelligence will shape the future.

Gates looks into the future through the eyes of his young grandson and believes that the new generation will inherit a world completely based on artificial intelligence. While many argue that this technology is still new, we are already seeing its impact on fields as diverse as mathematics, medicine, and education.

Many users are concerned about the privacy issues associated with this technology; But the US government has already addressed some of these issues through an executive order and recently banned the export of several Nvidia graphics card models to China due to security concerns.

The United States government quickly announced in a statement that this action was not done to hit the country’s economy, but with the aim of establishing control over artificial intelligence chips. China has since turned to GPU recycling factories to meet its demand for AI chips.

Bill Gates compares the rise of artificial intelligence to when the Internet first appeared. He remembers how technology was formed and evolved from the beginning. Bill Gates says:

Now we are at the beginning. These are exciting and confusing times, and if you still don’t understand how to best use AI, you’re not alone. This year I decided to use AI tools to analyze financial strategies, which requires reading hundreds of pages of material that AI can accurately summarize for me; But old habits die hard and I ended up preparing them the same old way.
