Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 can run Windows 11

Pictures of Xiaomi running Windows 11 have just been released. Other than the lack of GPU drivers, it seems that the operating system on the Pad 5 works well. However, as the GeekBench benchmark score shows, the performance of Windows 11 on this tablet has been slightly affected.

According to Notebook, although Windows 11 has a relatively strict set of prerequisites, it installs and runs amazingly well on a variety of devices. We have already seen this operating system run on various devices, including the Pixel 6 and Surface Duo. Now a Chinese developer has successfully installed Windows 11 on the Xiaomi Pad 5.

The released screenshots show a Windows 11 application desktop running on the Xiaomi iPad 5. High-usage applications seem to work well on this device, however, GPU performance has been disrupted due to a lack of drivers, a problem that has affected the smooth running of some parts of Windows 11 on the iPad 5. The Mead 5’s single-core, multi-core performance scores on the Geekbench benchmark are 456 and 1992, respectively, which is slightly lower than the Snapdragon 860 765 and 2712 scores, respectively.
