Xiaomi 13 Pro will be equipped with a “floating telephoto lens” similar to SLR cameras

In its new teaser, Xiaomi mentions the use of a 75mm “floating” telephoto lens. This system consists of an internal group of lens elements, one of which moves forward and backward along the horizontal axis, and the focal length changes as this element moves.

The telephoto system of Xiaomi 13 Pro is produced by Leica. According to Xiaomi, this system is inspired by a similar design used in high-end SLR cameras.
