What is the place of the M2 Ultra chip among the competitors in the primary benchmarks?

The Geekbench performance results of the M2 Ultra, used as the processor in Apple’s new Mac Studio and Mac Pro, show the chip’s improvements in both single-core and multi-core tests compared to the M1 Ultra. Of course, these results are not based on the latest version of the Geekbench 6 benchmark, and the difference in performance may not be accurately visible.

Geekbench’s M2 Ultra score of 5 shows that Apple’s Mac Studio 2023 with a 24-core configuration can deliver impressive single-core and multi-core performance. Apple’s fastest chip is 18% faster than the previous generation, the M1 Ultra. This new system-on-chip also beats the 24-core Intel Core i9 13900K, and of course, scores better than the 16-core AMD Ryzen 7950X.

Remember that Apple used the same manufacturing process (TSMC 5nm technology) in the production of M1 Ultra and M2 Ultra and still managed to improve the performance score of the new version of its chip.
