The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is the first smartphones of this company to be equipped with a customized version of the Snapdragon chip. This system-on-chip (SoC) is actually an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that was officially announced a few months ago. According to official statistics, the core of this chip in the new flagship phones of the Galaxy series works at a frequency of 3.36 GHz, which is 0.16 GHz more than the core frequency of the regular version of this processor. In addition, the customized version of this chip in the Galaxy S23 series uses the Adreno 740 graphics processor with a frequency of 719 MHz (39 MHz more than the standard version). The beating heart of Samsung’s new high-end phones offers other features in addition to increasing the frequency.
