Valencell’s new device checks blood pressure from your fingertips

With cuffs and calibration kits, measuring blood pressure can be a bit of a pain. But Valencell’s latest product seems to eliminate the hassles of blood pressure measurement by putting all the necessary technology into a single device, as it only requires a user’s fingertip to check.
Valencell, the company that puts its sensor technology into products from Sony, Samsung, Suunto, Bose, Jabra and Huawei, has announced that it is developing its own digital therapy suite. In this regard, the mentioned company displayed its first blood pressure device without cuff and calibration at CES 2023.
Valencell’s new device is similar to a pulse oximeter. When placed on the finger, it shows blood pressure in less than a minute.
