Inspired by Samsung, Google changed the name of one of the Android features

In an unexpected move, Google has decided to change the name of Nearby Share feature of the Android operating system to Quick Share. This functionality is similar to AirDrop on the iPhone.

Nearby Share was originally introduced as a file transfer feature between Android devices, but today it supports Chromebooks and even Windows PCs (Apple Macs are not supported).
