The release date and CPU specifications of Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5 have been revealed

Windows Central In a report quoted by the German media, WinFuture has published details about the Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5, which have not yet been officially unveiled. The new report claims that the two Surfaces in question will arrive with 12th generation Intel processors. Each of these devices will be offered in a normal model and an enterprise model.

It is said that the regular model Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5 with processors Intel Core i5-1245U or Intel Core i7-1265U will be available, and enterprise models will be equipped with either Intel Core i5-1235U or Intel Core i7-1255U (vPro series).

Confirming previous rumors, WinFuture says that configurations of the Surface Pro 9 will come with a processor based on ARM architecture. Also, the new Surface Pro model will have the ability to connect to the 5G network.

Apparently, models equipped with the ARM processor will only be available in platinum color. If you go for the Intel Surface Pro 9 model, you can also buy this product in platinum, matte black, blue, and green colors. Surface Pro 9 may be available in another model with a combination of red and orange colors.

Most likely, the Surface Pro 9 will be equipped with eight, 16, or 32 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and will use an Iris Xe or Ardreno integrated graphics unit. This device is equipped with up to one TB of SSD storage drive, a 13-inch 120 Hz 3:2 display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,920 pixels, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a 50.2 watt-hour battery.

WinFuture also claims that the Intel Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5 models will be launched in late October 2022 (early Aban 1401). The Surface Pro 9 model will arrive at the end of November 2022 (early December 1401). In this way, it is expected that there will be a few weeks between the release date of the Intel and ARM Surface Pro 9 models.
