The Redmi K50S Pro will likely be introduced with a 200MP main camera and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip

There are rumors that Redmi will introduce two phones K50S and K50S Pro in China. It seems that Redmi K50S Pro will probably be the first phone of this brand with a 200 megapixel main camera. Now the newly leaked information once again confirms that the device will have a 200MP camera.

Famous Chinese leakster DigitalChatStation has shared the key specifications of Redmi’s next flagship phone. According to this leaker, the next high-end Redmi phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip. In addition, he mentioned that this product will use a 120 Hz screen, a 200 megapixel main camera and a 5000 mAh battery, and thus it is expected that the first Chinese phone equipped with a 200 megapixel camera will be introduced soon.

The Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro and 12S Ultra phones were all introduced with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip, so it is unlikely that the company will launch another Xiaomi-branded phone with this processor.

According to Gizmochina, the global markets will get the Xiaomi 12T series with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip instead of the Xiaomi 12S series, and the 12T and 12T Pro models in China will likely be called Redmi K50S and Redmi K50S Pro.

The previously leaked information also indicates that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will use a 200-megapixel main camera, which indicates that the Redmi K50S Pro will be available in China with the same camera. That being said, the leaked specs are most likely for the Redmi K50S Pro.

The Redmi K50S Pro has already received 3C certification, so it is possible that it will be officially unveiled in China in August along with the Redmi K50S.
