The Redmi K50 will be introduced in February 2022 in four models

Redmi will soon introduce the K50 series smartphones as the new generation of the Redmi K40 series. Based on the information already available, the Redmi K50 series handsets will come with the MIUI 13 user interface by default. Given that the product will be available in February, it is not surprising that MIUI 13 will be introduced in this period. It remains to be seen whether the MIUI user interface is based on Android 12 or whether Xiaomi will offer this skin on Android 11.
Of course, there is still a long way to go before the official release of the Redmi K50 series. We are currently aware of some of the features of this smartphone thanks to the information disclosed by tech news enthusiasts and information registered on smartphone certification sites. The Redmi K50 will be codenamed Matisse and Rubens. The Matisse is expected to be powered by a 9000 Density processor.
The Matisse Redmi K50 will be equipped with a display with a refresh rate of 120 or 144 Hz. It is said that this display is of the old type and a fingerprint sensor is embedded under it. The device is expected to feature a 64-megapixel quad-camera system, and given that the Redmi K50 is a gaming phone, it may also have a cooling system. This device will probably be introduced as Redmi K50 Gaming Pro.
In addition, the Rubens model is expected to be introduced as the standard Redmi K50 gaming version. This model will be equipped with a 7000 dime processor and will use a 64-megapixel dual camera system and a cooling mechanism similar to the K50 Gaming Pro model.
Details on models equipped with the Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8 first-generation Redmi K50 chips are not yet available.
