According to Nvidia, the RTX 4090 GPU is equipped with 9,728 CUDA cores and offers a boost frequency of 2,040 MHz. This GPU has 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The RTX 4080 model is equipped with 12 GB, the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 models with 8 GB, and the RTX 4050 model with 6 GB of memory.

The RTX 4070 isn’t Nvidia’s most powerful new GPU, but it packs a punch. According to Nvidia, the RTX 4070 offers the same level of power as the RTX 3080, consuming a third of the energy required by this GPU. Reducing energy consumption in Nvidia’s new graphics means improving the battery life of laptops. The Ada architecture was very popular on the desktop platform, but Nvidia has optimized it for the laptop.

Nvidia says that laptops equipped with RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 can play a video with 4K resolution and 60fps frame rate simultaneously on three monitors. These new graphics output videos up to twice as fast as the previous generation.

According to Nvidia, the RTX 4000 series GPUs will be used in new laptops from Elinor, Dell, Acer, Gigabyte, Samsung, Lenovo and Razer. In addition to gaming laptops, these processors are supposed to appear in other products such as 14-inch laptops.
