Some details about the next flagship series of Oppo, the Find X, were revealed late last year; But after that, there was no news about this series and the foldable Find N2 was at the top of the news. Now based on a report from GSM RNAthe X6 series is back in the spotlight and is said to be officially unveiled next month.
Oppo Find X6 Pro will apparently be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. There will be another Pro model that will use the Dimensity 9200 instead of the mentioned chip. Finally, the regular OPPO Find X6 model will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. Additionally, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Pro model will be the only phone with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, and the other two phones are expected to use older standards.
All three phones will have triple 50-megapixel cameras on the back, although they will use different sensor combinations. The Find X6 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with Sony’s one-inch IMX989 sensor, which is now used in phones like the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Vivo X90 Pro Plus. The other two cameras will be based on the IMX890, a 1.1.56-inch sensor found in the OnePlus 11.
Oppo Find X6 Pro with Dimensity chip uses IMX890 sensor behind each lens of its back panel. The regular model will combine everything with the IMX890 for the main camera, the ISOCELL JN1 for the ultra-wide camera and the IMX763 for the telephoto camera.
All three will have a 3D ToF sensor and a 13-channel color sensor to complement Hasselblad’s features. On the other hand, on the front panel, all X6 phones use a 32-megapixel RGBW IMX709 sensor. Needless to say, the two Pro models use the second-generation MariSilicon X2 Image Signal Processor (ISP) and the regular model uses the original MariSilicon ISP.
The Pro models will have a 6.82-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate (Samsung E6 panel); They will also have 5000 mAh batteries with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging and IP68 certification to resist dust and water.
The regular Oppo Find X2 will have a slightly smaller 6.74-inch AMOLED display (by Tianma) that will still sport a 120Hz refresh rate. This phone will be powered by a 4800 mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. On the other hand, there will be water resistance; But maybe this phone does not have an official IP certificate.
Oppo is expected to unveil the Find X6 series in China in February.
