Users can enable automatic mode so that Power Saving Mode disables animations as soon as the battery reaches a certain percentage.
Users of the iOS version of Telegram can use Power Saving Mode to limit updates in the background. Telegram says that doing this will make the word Updating at the top of the user interface more visible than before.
