The list of the first phones receiving the MIUI 14 update has been announced

In today’s event, Xiaomi officially unveiled MIUI 14 alongside the Xiaomi 13 series. The new user interface of this company is equipped with new features and many improvements have been applied to it. The Chinese tech giant says its Android 13-based skin is smaller and offers improved performance. The Chinese also announced the list of the first batch of smartphones compatible with the MIUI 14 update.
The release of the MIUI 14 update for the first series of Xiaomi smartphones will begin in February. This update will be available first for the flagship phones of the Xiaomi 12 series, Redmi K50 series and the latest Chinese folding phone, the Mix Fold 2. Xiaomi will soon announce the list of other phones receiving MIUI 14. Please note that the announced timetable is currently only for Chinese users.

Xiaomi has not yet announced the release schedule of MIUI 14 for Poco series devices. The company has also not mentioned the release date of the global version of the latest version of MIUI.
In short, MIUI 14 takes up less storage space and its improved engine helps apps run smoother and faster. Additionally, the number of pre-installed apps on this custom skin has been reduced and users can remove many of the default apps.
Other important changes in MIUI 14 include more customization options, new widgets, home screen folders and large icons. The update also puts user privacy at the forefront, with Xiaomi saying that all processing will be done locally on the device and no data will be stored in the cloud. On the other hand, the Mi AI smart assistant has also been improved and can now be used to scan documents, translate and filter spam calls.
