The Google Pixel tablet will probably be equipped with the first generation Tensor chip

While most of the recent news related to Google and the company’s I/O 2022 event has been focused on the Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch series, not many details about the company’s new tablet are available. Now new evidence has emerged that may provide important clues about the Google Pixel tablet.
A developer named Cuba Wojciechowski It says the Pixel tablet will be equipped with the first-generation Tensor chip, Google’s proprietary system-on-chip (SoC) used in the Pixel 6 series. The developer found this out by checking the code of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and got some other details about the said tablet.
to report AndroidCentralThe Pixel tablet will not offer some important features found in many of the best Android tablets, such as GPS and SIM card and mobile data support. This shows that the future Google tablet will probably connect to the Internet only through Wi-Fi, which means that it is designed more for use in the interior of the home or offices, and as a result, it cannot be used as a portable device that is always connected to the network anywhere.
Wojciechowski writes on his Twitter account:
It seems that the Google hardware team has fully embraced this idea and designed the device based on this concept.
Previous rumors have suggested that the Pixel tablet will act as a smart display like the Nest Hub, except that the screen is said to be detachable. Wojciechowski added that this product will also be devoid of proximity sensors and pressure gauges.
As always, it is not possible to speak with complete certainty about the authenticity of the rumors; But if this news is true, maybe Google has limited what can be done with this company’s tablet.
Needless to say, the official details of the Google Pixel tablet will be available early next year, that is, the possible date of the introduction of this device.
