The energy consumption of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra display is higher than that of the Xiaomi 13 Pro

Xiaomi 13 Ultra was officially announced earlier this week as Xiaomi’s new flagship. One of the attractive features of this product is the very high brightness of its display, but this feature alone is not enough to judge the quality, and it seems that the panel of this device is not at the level of other flagships in the market in terms of performance.

The Chinese shop Xiaobai Evaluation, by testing the Xiaomi 13 Ultra screen, announced the performance of this panel compared to the E6 screen. Xiaomi 13 Pro is weaker. Although the display power consumption of these two devices is almost the same at 100 nits brightness, the Xiaomi 13 Pro panel consumes only 0.933 watts of power at 350 nits brightness, while the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s screen consumption at this brightness level is 1.055 watts. On the other hand, the energy consumption of these two devices at 510 nits brightness is 1.57 watts and 1.771 watts, respectively.
