Forget Dynamic Island; This is the “dynamic notch” of the iPhone! [تماشا کنید]

Last year, Apple reduced the dimensions of the space required for the selfie camera and Face ID sensors and officially said goodbye to the notch above the screen to use a capsule cavity called Dynamic Island.

Dynamic Island, which was first used in iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, is the result of years of discussion among iPhone designers. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus still used a notch at the top of their display, but things have changed in this year’s iPhones.

Video on YouTube It has been published that shows a new concept for the iPhone called Dynamic Notch. As seen in the video, the notch at the top of the screen is equipped with applications and animations similar to Dynamic Island.

Craig Federighi, head of Apple’s software engineering team, says that Dynamic Island is the biggest change to the iOS operating system since the introduction of the iPhone 10. This capsule cavity is compatible with iOS animations and provides an attractive user experience.

This year, all four models of the iPhone 15 family, from the basic configuration to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, all used the dynamic island. The Cupertinos even used this design in the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros that were introduced in November.

Since 2017, with the unveiling of the iPhone 10, Apple has introduced a notch in its phones. Gradually, as Apple’s competitors moved to smaller cutouts and a capsule cavity, criticism of the iPhone’s design began.

Most flagship phones now, like Samsung, use a small circular hole for the selfie camera and move towards placing the camera under the display, a design that was used on the ZTE Red Magic 8 Pro.

According to rumors about Apple’s future decisions regarding the front panel hole, it seems very unlikely that the Dynamic Notch project will come to fruition.

The Cupertinos are said to want to transform the capsule-shaped Dynamic Island into a circular hole first, and will likely switch to an under-display camera for the 2027 iPhone Pro models. Of course, it is not clear how much such a change will affect the price of the iPhone.
