At CES 2022, Asus introduced several new laptops based on the Windows 11 operating system for a variety of uses. Now the company has unveiled its new and very powerful Chromebook.
According to Gizmocchina, the Chromebook Flip CX5 with the model ID of the XC5601 uses a 16-inch screen. Since most Chromebooks do not feature powerful hardware specifications, it is interesting to note that this product is equipped with an Intel 12th generation chip.
As mentioned, the Asus Chromebook Flip CX5 features a 16-inch Full HD display with a 16-to-10 aspect ratio and an 87% body-to-body ratio that also supports touch commands. The hinge of this Chromebook can be rotated 360 degrees, and this feature has made it possible to use this device in tablet mode as well.
The Chromebook Flip CX5 uses the latest generation of 12th generation Intel Core i7 processors with vPro. Other hardware specifications of this product include 16 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a maximum of 512 GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
The CX5 flip keypad has a backlight and its keys are 1.4 mm. In addition, the numbers section is located on the right side of the keyboard of this Chromebook. This product also uses a relatively large touchpad with a diameter of 5.84 inches.
The Asus Chromebook Flip CX5 is equipped with four optimized Harmonicord speakers. The device has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, a USB 3.2 second-generation A port, a 3.5mm headphone port and an Asudi micro card slot. Also, the Chromebook Flip CX5 has the MIL-STD 810H tested chassis.
Other important features of this Chromebook include support for 6E WiFi. In addition, the CX5 features a Full HD webcam with a privacy shutter that covers the camera when not in use. Asus has not yet released details on the release date and price of the Chromebook Flip CX5; But the product is expected to hit the market in the coming months.
