The latest benchmarks attributed to AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D claim that this processor equipped with 3D cache performs up to 35% more powerful than the flagship processor Intel Core i9-13900K. Yesterday, the first AMD processor gaming benchmarks were revealed. Those benchmarks showed that the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D outperformed the Intel processor by an average of 6%.
According to WccftechThe new benchmark of the 7950X3D processor was recorded in a system equipped with MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk motherboard with the latest BIOS version and GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card. This benchmark included five games.
AMD’s flagship managed to achieve a multi-core score of 37,973 in Cinebench R23, which is about 5% different from the score of the Ryzen 9 7950X. AMD Ryzen Master software shows that the 7950X3D processor managed to register a score of 37,973 at 89°C.
In Assassins Creed Valhalla, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D performed up to 35% better than the 13900K and almost 40% better than the Ryzen 9 7950X. AMD’s new CPU performance in Far Cry 5 was nearly 12% better than the 13900K and 32% better than the Ryzen 9 7950X. The difference in performance in Shadow of The Tomb Raider was 11 and 16 percent, respectively, and Metro Exodus was 5 and 4 percent, respectively. In the Star Control game, all three chips showed almost equal performance.
Don’t forget the $700 price tag makes the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D more expensive than the $529 Intel Core i9-13900K.
7950X3D is AMD’s new flagship processor that has 16 cores and 32 threads and uses 3D V-Cache technology. This processor is equipped with 144 MB of cache and achieves a power of 120 watts. AMD says the 7950X3D has a base clock speed of 4.2GHz (300MHz less than the 7950X) and achieves a boost clock speed of 5.7GHz.
