The next viral revolution is set by artificial intelligence

One of the pioneers of artificial intelligence and the former manager of Google gave an unexpected warning about the popular technology these days and caused a lot of noise in social networks.

Mustafa Suleimanco-founder of Google DeepMind, in New podcast “The darkest scenario is that people start experimenting with pathogens, artificially engineered pathogens that may be accidentally or intentionally more contagious,” he said.

AI-modified viruses are likely to spread faster, be more lethal, and ultimately cause more damage, according to a former Google executive. Suleiman has even mentioned the possibility that the next world will be started by viruses modified with artificial intelligence.

Mustafa Suleiman says: “We are working with dangerous things. We should not let everyone have access to these things. “We should limit access to artificial intelligence software, cloud systems and even some biological materials.”

A former Google executive has called for a “deterrence strategy” for artificial intelligence, similar to what NATO has set for the use of nuclear weapons. This is not the first time that artificial intelligence has been compared to nuclear weapons.

“We need to limit access to AI tools and how these experiments are conducted,” says Suleiman.

Mustafa Suleiman, who founded a new company called Inflection AI after leaving Google and now serves as its CEO, will soon be present at the US Senate press conference. The meeting in question is supposed to host the most famous people active in the field of artificial intelligence, including Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI), Mark Zuckerberg (Meta CEO), Sundar Pichai (CEO of Alphabet) and Elon Musk (CEO of xAI).
