Reports indicate that access to Session Messenger has been blocked in Iran. Recently, Session was among the few available options for Iranian users. Now it seems that this messenger can be accessed only through IP change tools on the fixed and mobile internet platforms of major Iranian operators.
Session is considered a safe messenger with features such as end-to-end encryption, activity without collecting and storing user data, and no need to register a mobile number. The developer of Session describes the decentralized nature of the messenger as very difficult to cut access to.
Recently, many software and services have been filtered in Iran, including Instagram, WhatsApp and Skype. Now Session has also joined this group. It is not clear whether session filtering is temporary or permanent.
Are you also a Zoomit user among Session users? Can you access this messenger without IP change tool?
