Along with iOS 17.2.1, Apple today released iOS 16.7.4 and iPadOS 16.7.4 updates to resolve issues that occurred when installing apps for a variety of Apple phones and Apple tablets. This update is released for relatively old devices that are equipped with iOS 16 and iPadOS 16.
According to MacRumorsDevices equipped with iOS or iPadOS that use version 16.7.3 or earlier of the mentioned operating systems, if they delete one of Apple’s internal programs, it will not be possible to reinstall the desired program.
Probably, the reason that the mentioned problem is not common is that most of the users have gone to buy a new phone or tablet and are using version 17 or newer of the mentioned operating systems.
The iOS 17.2.1 update also includes some bug fixes, but Apple hasn’t released any other details.
