Apparently, the new change has been seen in one of Chrome’s flags. This flag specifically mentions “Integration with Android App Search”. The flag description says, “If enabled, allows Chrome to integrate with Android App Search.”

At the moment, we do not know the exact details about Android App Search, but this term probably refers to the same AppSearch feature that was introduced in 2021 with Android 12.
