Samsung suspends One UI 4.0 update for Galaxy S21 series due to Google Play issues

According to Gizmochana, Samsung has temporarily stopped releasing One UI 4 UI updates for the Galaxy S21 series due to compatibility issues with Google Play on some devices. As a reminder, this update was released a few weeks ago in several regions for the flagship and high-end Galaxy devices.

According to the post of the forum manager of the Samsung Association, the problem of Google Play Store is not only related to the Korean manufacturer; Because Google has also announced that it is involved in this problem. It is not yet known when this update will be republished; However, according to the director of the association, the update will be restarted only after the completion of “Google actions”.

This is not the first time the problem has forced Samsung to temporarily suspend the release of One UI 4; Because the previous update of the Galaxy Z Philip 3 suffered a similar fate in South Korea.

Apart from this, if you are a little hurried, you can always manually check the availability of a new update by going to the Settings section and then the Software update.
