Samsung introduced credit card service in India

The Indian branch of Samsung has unveiled a credit card service in collaboration with the financial services company Axis Bank, which operates in India. This Samsung financial service offers 10% cash back and has other benefits for customers.

The first service has a monthly cashback limit of 2,500 rupees (about $31) or an annual limit of 10,000 rupees (about $122). In contrast, the Infinite service has monthly and annual cashback limits of 5,000 rupees (approximately $61) and 20,000 rupees (approximately $245), respectively.

The benefits of Samsung’s new financial service include all of the company’s products, from smartphones and laptops to televisions and home appliances. Samsung says it has not set a minimum transaction amount for its credit card service. Also, this service does not impose restrictions on purchases related to Samsung products. The refund credit will appear in the user’s profile up to 60 days after the payment. This credit is only applicable in certain stores.

The CEO of Axis Bank says that the Samsung credit card will soon be available in many cities in India. Statistics show that three out of four Indians buy at least one electrical appliance every year, spending around 40,000 rupees ($490).

Samsung will soon start registration for Samsung Axis Credit Card through the India branch of its official website. Needless to say, there is no mention of providing this service outside India.
