Head of Nasr Country Organization: There is a suspicion of re-engineering the private ecosystem

On the third day of the Al-Comp exhibition, a panel called “Missing Simorgh” was held on the topic of trade unions and the issue of Iran’s online ecosystem, in which the activists of this ecosystem spoke about their problems with the government.

The meeting was attended by Hassan Hashemi, head of Nasr Kishore Organization, Mehdi Shariatmadar, CEO of Jibit, Mehdi Fatemian, CEO of Zibal, and Vahid Shamkhi, Vice President of Business Development of Nobitex, and Jalal Samii, content and communication consultant of Nowruz Technology Development Group, was in charge of the panel management.

In response to Nasr’s follow-up on the Internet situation, Hassan Hashemi said: After the events of last fall, the information technology ecosystem suffered the first damage, and we sent a five-page letter to the President and a three-page letter to the Minister of Communications. In consultation with various experts, the concerns were mentioned and we announced the statistics of the affected businesses, but our statistics were inferential and relatively accurate. However, some people did not like it. In response, we were given implicit promises that due to the prevailing conditions at that time, these restrictions took place, but our friends broke their promises, and even though the conditions are normal, the restrictions continue in the same way.

He emphasized that the information and communication technology ecosystem is related to all industries due to its interdisciplinary nature: “During this time, businesses that built markets through external social networks disappeared due to the filtering of these networks. We could not do an effective job in this area and we tried to help our colleagues. As a result of these events, part of the ecosystem left Iran in order to continue its existence.

Hashemi went on to say that in all the meetings we had with the security and governance institutions, all officials after the minister have absolved themselves of responsibility: “The minister also says that one person is involved in those decisions.” Referring to the problems that have arisen in the field of the competence of the head of the Chamber of Commerce, he said that this incident raises the suspicion of re-engineering the ecosystem of the private sector: “Also, the notification that places us among the sensitive jobs is also suspicious. Because one of the clauses of sensitive jobs is that people or their families do not have dual citizenship. This issue causes a major decline in the trade union. We are condemned to use the second citizenship of people and the transfer of technical knowledge for production and obtaining licenses. “Our war will be loud in the coming days and we will defend the private sector.”

Vahid Shamkhi, the director of Nobitex’s business development, said that it is difficult to achieve the union’s demands: “Efforts are made, but the formation of the result depends on parameters and elements, many of which we do not clearly understand.”

Mehdi Fatemian, CEO of Zibal, also pointed out that several different government institutions are in charge, and when a problem arises, it takes some time to see where the problem came from: “When the regulators do not have an answer for the problem they created, they say that the pressure from There was another place for us to stop following. The growth rate of aid payments compared to the previous two years has officially reached zero. “The regulator should recognize this area and create a market, but this has not happened.”

Mehdi Shariatmadar, CEO of Jibit, said that the governing body is in many cases doing business in the market and competing with the thin private sector of 20%: “When I present the demand to someone who competes with me in the market, it is clear that the work He kills himself.”

According to him, in the last two or three years, there has been no dialogue in the sense of a dialogue with the governing body: “Perhaps we forced our words and got two points, but this is not a dialogue, a dialogue is an understanding when the interests are separated. But when the issue of the governing body is not development, but keeping it limited, we cannot have a dialogue. The intellectual distance between the private sector and the governing body is also very large. The private sector says it wants to provide good service to the Iranian audience and operate in the countries of the region, and the governing body says I have not yet defined a license for you to operate in Iran. “I serve thousands and millions of people, but the governing body is not concerned with development, nor does it understand the value of development, nor is it aware of the consequences of non-development.”

Hashemi mentioned about the governing institutions that they only think about two or three years ahead. Referring to the creation of data centers in the country, he said: “Don’t hurt them, but do we have electricity at all?” While they cut off the electricity of the food factory in the industrial pole. They say that we signed a memorandum of understanding for the supply of electricity. They say they gave 15 licenses for data centers at the airport, but why did they also give licenses to banks to compete with the private sector?

Shamkhi went on to say that the best way to achieve the results of the demands is for the departments that do union work to have the same priorities and focus all their efforts and relations on them to achieve the results.

Fatemian also criticized the fact that there is no separate section for startups in this year’s exhibition and said that this is an alarm for the next two or three years. In response, Hashemi said that we could not use the capacity of startups in this exhibition, but we will have an independent exhibition for startups.
