Pixel 7a specifications revealed; From the 90 Hz screen to the 64 megapixel main camera

The Google I/O 2023 event will begin on May 10, and on the second day of the event, we will see the introduction of the company’s new mid-range Pixel 7a. Although this device is considered mid-range, many of its specifications will be very similar to the Pixel 7 flagship phone. Next, we are going to review the revealed features of this product.

Pixel 7a is the first Google A-series phone that will use a 64-megapixel main camera. The device will also feature a 90Hz refresh rate display and support 18W wireless charging for the first time, a significant upgrade over last year’s Pixel 6a.

The expected specifications of the Pixel 7a are very similar to the Pixel 7 flagship phone, including the Tensor G2 chip. Of course, the specifications of the storage memory and RAM of this device have not been announced in the new report.

to report GSMArenaThe basic model of Pixel 7 was launched with a tag of $600, and we expect Pixel 7a to be available for buyers at a price of $500. In comparison, the Pixel 6a was launched with a $450 tag, and this price increase was not far from expected considering the updated features of Google’s new mid-range.

The Pixel 7a will use a 6.1-inch display, which is slightly smaller than the Pixel 7’s 6.3-inch panel. This screen will be AMOLED type and its resolution will be Full HD Plus. This panel will also support 90 Hz refresh rate. Google’s next mid-range main camera is 64MP and will use a 1.37-inch Sony IMX787 sensor. Other features of the mentioned product include wireless charging, which makes it less different from the standard Pixel 7.
