In 2022, OnePlus launched two flagship phones, OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T. Now, a Chinese leaker has claimed that the brand will introduce the next generation of its flagship phone before the end of this year.
DigitalChatStation announced on its Weibo account that OnePlus will introduce a smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip in late 2022. He also stated that OnePlus will focus a lot on its performance in making this new flagship.
As AndroidAuthority He points out that there are currently no details on the specifications of OnePlus’ next high-end phone, but it will likely be called the OnePlus 11 series. The company didn’t launch the standard OnePlus 10 model this year, so its next flagship device will likely be called the OnePlus 11 Pro.
Qualcomm is expected to officially unveil its new flagship chip called Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 at its Snapdragon event in mid-November. In comparison, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was announced in December 2021, and shortly after that we saw the unveiling of smartphones such as Xiaomi 12 and Motorola Edge X30 that used this processor.
