written by GSMArenaThe OnePlus foldable phone launch event will probably take place in the first half of August 2023 in New York City. This means that the said device will be launched just a week or two after Samsung’s Galaxy Zfold 5 and Galaxy ZFlip 5, as according to multiple reports, the next Unpacked event will be held on July 26.
OnePlus is expected to launch its foldable phone in global markets. Of course, this product will be available to buyers in the United States, India and other countries where OnePlus products are currently sold.
Interestingly, Oppo Find N3 will also be introduced in China in August. According to previous rumors, the OnePlus Fold, as the international version of the Find N3, will be equipped with an 8-inch foldable internal display with QHD+ resolution and a 6.5-inch Full HD+ external display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The beating heart of the OnePlus Fold will be Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Other technical specifications include up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device is expected to ship with Android 13 and OxygenOS 13.1 UI by default.
Other expected specifications of OnePlus Fold include a 4800 mAh battery, support for 80W wired charging, a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera. In addition, a 32-megapixel selfie camera will be installed on each of the screens of this device.
