While the RTX 4090 has the same power consumption as the RTX 3090 Ti (the flagship of the previous generation), it offers twice as much processing power. In some scenarios, the RTX 4090 will be up to four times more powerful than the RTX 3090 Ti.
Nvidia says that the RTX 4090 graphics card is equipped with 16,384 CUDA cores, and thanks to the new generation of tensor cores, it achieves the power of 1,321 tensor teraflops. The power of this graphic card is 191 teraflops in ray tracing processing and 83 teraflops in shading. The RTX 4090 uses 24GB of GDDR6X memory.
