New renders and possible specifications of the Honor X40 have been revealed before the unveiling

Honor confirmed yesterday that it will launch the Honor X40 series in China on September 15. Now renderings of this device have been shared on the Weibo user account of one of the famous technology news whistleblowers, and some of its technical specifications have also been made available.

According to the official teaser, the Honor X40 will use a curved OLED display and the selfie camera will be embedded in its central punchhole cutout. The panel supports 10-bit colors and, according to the published renders, the top of the device is likely to host an infrared sensor alongside a secondary microphone.

DigitalChatStation has revealed the design of the device by sharing full renders of the Honor X40. The images of this phone show the giant camera ring on the back and the volume buttons as well as the power button on the right edge.
