Musk: Starlink seeks exemption from sanctions against Iran

Elon Musk responded to a user on Twitter who asked if it is technically possible to provide Starlink satellite internet service in Iran. answered“In this regard, Starlink will request an exemption from sanctions against Iran.”
Starlink is the project of the SpaceX company to build a continuous Internet network using thousands of satellites, which is called a satellite constellation.
SpaceX has put 1,740 Starlink satellites into orbit and this network is currently available in 32 countries around the world, including most of Europe and North America, along with parts of South America, Australia, and New Zealand. Musk says that by 2023, many parts of the world will be covered by Starlink.
Starlink uses special antennas called Phased Array Antenna to send and receive data both in the satellite and in the user’s dish. This means that it is not possible to use Starlink services without special equipment. Starlink’s basic kit now costs $599, and the user must pay $110 a month to access the Internet service.
