2022 seems to be the year of clamshell smartphones and cameras under the screen. A new report has been released by one of the most trusted revelators in the tech world, which shows that Motorola is also working on a new product with a display camera.
Motorola is very interested in offering flagship products with powerful chips, Digital Chat Station reported. Moto S30 with Snapdragon 888 Plus and Moto X30 (Edge 30 Ultra globally) with Snapdragon 8 first generation chip are on the way. Another third model with a selfie camera under the screen may now join the two.
Recently, Chen Jin, General Manager of Lenovo Telephone in China, announced in a post on Weibo that Motorola will officially unveil its new flagship generation that uses the first generation Snapdragon 8 at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Technology Summit. The device may be the first smartphone to use the chip, as the Xiaomi 12 is expected to ship with the same chip in late December.
The exact time of the release of the smartphone that has the display camera has not been announced yet, and there are no indications that it will be released with the Moto S30 and Moto X30. This means that the smartphone may be released in the first quarter of 2022. Apart from this, there is currently no other information about the mysterious Motorola phone.
