Microsoft Games now has 25 million subscribers

Acquisition of Activision Blizzard is currently the most talked about news about Microsoft; However, the company’s Microsoft Game Pass service has recently been a huge success. According to Anget, Microsoft Games now has more than 25 million subscribers.

Statistics show that the number of game subscribers has grown by 39% in the last year, which is a significant number (this number was 18 million subscribers last year). Microsoft has not said how many of the game’s 25 million subscribers are experiencing gaming on Xbox consoles or PC platforms or both.

25 million subscribers is a significant achievement for the game. However, according to Axius, the game growth rate in the fiscal year ending June 2021 (June and July 1400) was lower than expected by Microsoft. Redmond’s company at the time expected the game to achieve 48% annual growth; But the growth rate reached 37%. While 37% growth is interesting in its own right, we can clearly see that Microsoft is not taking any steps to grow the game as much as possible.

This justifies one of the reasons for the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Microsoft has explicitly stated that it will make Blizzard Activision games available through the gameplay service. This means that the $ 10 you pay monthly for the game will allow you to access a much richer service. Although the addition of Activision Blizzard to the Microsoft subsidiary may take until 2023, this could be a guarantee of the growing trend of this popular service.
