This shutter is a collection of images by Chris Willemsen. These images are the result of macro photography of miniature dolls next to objects from our normal world. Chris took these small world photos using his Nikon D800 camera and often with his macro lens to create something different from standard photography.
It’s not hard to believe that some of the photos you’ll see below took several hours to create. According to Chris, the most difficult part of this kind of photography for him is maintaining the proper DOF (depth of field); It is not possible to maintain proper depth of field with a photo at such a close distance. Therefore, the photographer uses stack photography for some photos. Because behind every photo there is a story for which the scene was created, Chris uses all his creativity to deliver the best possible photo regardless of the time.
