Twitter to Trades: You stole our trade secrets; Elon Musk: Competition is good, cheating is not!

According to Twitter, many former employees of the company still have access to trade secrets and other confidential information.

Twitter says that Meta exploited the situation by asking former employees of the company to develop a copy of Twitter. According to Twitter’s lawyer, this meta action is a violation of US state and federal laws.

With these arguments, Twitter has threatened to take legal action in the form of “civil damages and injunction”. The company also requested that Meta “take immediate action” to prevent the use of any trade secrets or other top-secret Twitter information on Trades. According to Spiro, Meta has no right to collect Twitter data.

According to VergeMeta responded to Twitter’s claims by publishing a post on Threads. The company’s communications director says none of the Trades engineering team members were former Twitter employees. Meta doesn’t seem particularly concerned about this.
