[ad_1]

Microsoft unveiled Windows 11 in June 2021. This operating system was made available to the public on October 5 of the same year. Since the release of the first version of Windows 11, several updates including 22H2 have been provided for this operating system, and now the Redmond-based technology giant has decided to end official support for version 21H2.

XDA It has published a list of all versions of Windows 11 whose official support will end soon. These versions will no longer receive new updates from October 10, 2023:

  • Windows 11 Home version 21H2
  • Windows 11 Pro version 21H2
  • Windows 11 Pro Workstation version 21H2
  • Windows 11 Education version 21H2

Users using the versions announced in the list above will not receive any new security updates after October 10, and due to the ever-increasing number of security threats, they may experience problems when using these operating systems on a daily basis. If you are using these versions of Windows 11, it is recommended to upgrade your computer to newer versions like 22H2 as soon as possible.

The next big Windows 11 update is likely to be 23H2, which will be available later this year. This version offers several new features such as Copilot integration, modern file browser, native support for RAR and 7z compression formats, dark mode in Paint and more.
