iPhone 14 in the US only supports electronic SIM cards

During the Far Out event, Apple announced that iPhone 14 series phones will be released in the US market without physical SIM card support. US users can use multiple electronic SIM cards at the same time. Removing the SIM card slot is a very important event for the iPhone.
Electronic SIM cards are not yet widely used around the world, but they do bring some decent benefits. Using an electronic SIM card eliminates the need to visit service offices in person and allows users to move between different operators more easily. T-Mobile is one of the first mobile operators that supports electronic SIM card technology. Apple says that in iOS 16, users can easily move their electronic SIM card between iPhones via Bluetooth.
Most US carriers and many carriers outside of the US accept e-SIM cards. Apple iPhones have been equipped to support this type of SIM cards since 2017. Before the unveiling of iPhone 13, users could use one physical SIM card and one electronic SIM card, but in the iPhone 13 family, simultaneous use of two electronic SIM cards became possible.
The next step for Apple is to completely remove the physical SIM card slot. Keep in mind that this change has only been applied to the US market and the iPhone 14 in all other regions of the world still has a slot for a physical nano SIM card.
According to VergeApple has announced that the iPhone 14 can support up to 6 electronic SIM cards. Of course, only two of them will be active at the same time. A person representing Airolo says that previous Apple iPhones (depending on the model) had the ability to store five to 10 electronic SIM cards.
Apple is moving towards the era of portless iPhones, say whistleblowers. The charging port of the iPhone will probably be removed in the near future.
The Cupertino company introduced four iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max phones in an event held last night. In normal models, the display notch and A15 processor are still used, but the pro models have said goodbye to the notch and have gone to the main 48 megapixel camera and the A16 processor.
The pre-sale of all four iPhone 14 series phones will start on September 9, 2022 (18 September 1401). iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will arrive on September 16, 2022 (September 25, 1401), but the release date of iPhone 14 Plus is set for October 7, 2022 (October 15, 1401).
