Intel sets new standards for the CPU market with the unveiling of the 14900KS

The Intel 14900KS processor will be equipped with 8 powerful cores (P) and 16 low-power cores (E). It is expected that the base frequency of this processor will be 3.2 GHz and will reach 6.2 GHz in boost mode.

The thermal design power (TDP) of Intel Core i9-14900KS will be around 150 watts and this product will generate a lot of heat. Due to the high thermal power of 14900K, the new Intel chip may suffer performance loss in playing games and heavy activities.

The price of the new Core i9-14900KS processor will be around $750. Given that price tag, it probably makes more sense for most people to buy older Intel processors designed for the LGA 1700 socket.
