However, the high price does not seem to be the reason for the fear of users; Because the 16-pin graphic power connector is a fire hazard. So far, there are 18 confirmed reports that custom RTX 4090 models are also experiencing the issue. Nvidia quickly addressed the issue and told its business partners to return the melted RTX 4090 cards to the company’s labs for further analysis.

Unfortunately, the published images show that the 16-pin connector of his graphics card is also melted. He didn’t share any photos of his system, but says he didn’t over-bend the cable, as bending the cable is said to cause fire problems. Anyway, MSI has contacted this user to replace the graphics and power.
