Huawei’s assessment of competitors: We have years of experience in the field of artificial intelligence

ChatGPT has become one of the most talked about topics on the Internet since its public release late last year. ChatGPT is an AI-based tool that answers any question, writes code, and even creates catchy poems.

While American brands like Microsoft and Google are trying to use artificial intelligence tools in a broader way, Chinese tech giant Huawei says it has years of experience in this field.

A Huawei executive says that the company started working on a large language model in 2020 and introduced Pengcheng Pangu a year later. At the same time, Pengcheng Pangu’s model had 100 billion parameters, answered questions and understood Chinese speech.

Huawei’s NLP (Natural Language Processing) model with 100 billion parameters was the largest Chinese artificial intelligence training model in the world in 2021.

According to the publication Huawei Central, the famous Chinese brand has registered two new patents related to artificial intelligence software to answer questions. Of course, Huawei currently has no plans to inject artificial intelligence tools into its devices.

Despite Huawei’s emphasis on experience in the field of artificial intelligence, big brands such as Google and Microsoft have also been pioneers in this field for years. Google has been using artificial intelligence to optimize search results for a long time.
